We are so thrilled for our friends at MOONBOT STUDIOS for taking home the gold statue last night. Hope this means that thousands more people (who haven’t already) will log on to watch The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore
Cheers to William Joyce and Brandon Oldenburg!!! No other story depicting the magic of books deserves it more.

Here There Everywhere

Have you seen this website? It’s a great place for kids to get the “news”. Founded by a TODAY SHOW producer and mother, “Here, There and Everywhere Kids News” is a very cool place for you and your children to spend time online.
With articles about nature, sports, politics and a section called “WOW”, there is a lot of very interesting info for kids. A great and easy way to broaded their horizons.

Little Book of Feelings

We love “The Little Book of Feelings” from The Mother Company. It is so sweet and lovely plus it’s a fabulous way for young ones to start their social and emotional learning – which we believe is just as important as the ABC’s.
Now they have created an App to show kids on a screen – as well as the board book – how they can express themselves and what it all means.
Check it out here.

Harry Potter!!!

We love “little junebugs”, the children’s book store and crafting studio in Pasadena, California.
Now we have a reason to love them even more. On February 25th, they are hosting a family fun day in all it’s Hogwarts glory.
Families are encouraged to donate books by bringing in a copy, or two, for the enormous “Harry Potter” donation they are building. Through Milk + Bookies, this delivery will be donated to the children serviced by Operation School Bell in Los Angeles.
And the magic of yumminess will be there through the generosity of our partners, Isabella’s Cookie Company. No Bertie’s Bots for us!
“Expeliarmis!”

We Love Morris

A while ago we shared with you our excitement (read: obsession) with the movie and app for The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore.
We are thrilled to announce that it has received a VERY WELL DESERVED Oscar nomination for “best animated short film”.
We sure hope it wins the statue, it has already won over our hearts.
Thank you, Moonbot Studios, for your genius and the happiness you have brought us.
Watch the magic here.
