Milk + Bookies would like to thank all the guests, sponsors, donors, volunteers and celebrity readers that helped make our recent first annual Story Time Celebration at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles such a huge success!

Our sold-out fundraiser included story-inspired arts & crafts, a bean-bag lounge to enjoy story time, strolling literary characters, a Willy Wonka Chocolate Fountain, yummy lunch and of course, milk and cookies!

Along with the fun, our young guests chose and inscribed books to “give back.” 3,000 books will be donated via Operation School Bell to kids who previously had never owned a storybook.

The proceeds from our fundraiser are providing us with the means necessary to grow the Milk + Bookies organization, bringing it to your community through the M + B Class Project and other fun events.
